About

American Luxury Craftsmanship

Aaron Henry, American Luxury Craftsmanship

Aaron Furlong was born in California, the third generation in a family of established jewelers and diamond merchants tracing back to 1940. By the time he was 21, Aaron had earned both a Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Davis.

Returning to Los Angeles, he began a six-year apprenticeship with a master jeweler. Over the next three years Mr. Furlong expanded his knowledge into casting and design, culminating in the creation of AARON HENRY Designs.

Accolades include Spectrum, Niche, Signity and Diamonds Today awards. Several AARON HENRY pieces have also been used in the marketing efforts of the World Gold Council, the GIA, De Beers and the California Jewelers Association. His jewelry has appeared in industry and consumer magazines including Vanity Fair, Town & Country, Millionaire and InStyle. Jewelers Quarterly Magazine has also named Mr. Furlong as a ‘Designer of the 21st Century’. In addition, Mr. Furlong is the current President of the Contemporary Design Group.

Philosophy

The hallmarks to AARON HENRY jewelry are design integrity, gemstone quality, fine craftsmanship and attention to detail. Fine jewelry is an art form, and the creative process extends beyond our studio into every aspect of the world, which we inhabit.

Where we travel, whom we meet and how we interact with nature and culture; our experiences and desires all influence the direction that our designs take. This is why the jewelry that we create today will remain relevant for future generations, and why our designs will continue to evolve.

The Collection

Each jewel is assembled, set and polished by hand with any eye to detail. There are no short-cuts when creating exceptional jewelry; it is an involved and labor-intensive process. This commitment makes a difference.

Every piece is created in platinum and/or various shades of 18 karat (or higher) gold. All of our diamonds are graded by a Graduate Gemologist for color (F-G), clarity (VS), and cut (exceptional). The finest gemstones are meticulously sorted and arranged to create finished pieces that are versatile, precious, sophisticated and collectable.

Innovative jewelry and design techniques are combined with inspiration from natural colors and shapes to create finished pieces that are versatile, precious, sophisticated and collectable.
